2024 Ski Marathon

Join us for our annual marathon race event! Three routes are available.
Events:
42k Lookout to Lower Baycrest (exact location TBD)
25k Lookout to Lower Baycrest (exact location TBD)
13k Lookout loop
FURTHER DETAILS:
When: Saturday, March 16, 2024. Longest race starts at 9:30am, the shuttle bus will move people from the finish line to the start at 7:45am.
Where: Dependent on route- Lookout ski trails to Baycrest system for 42k and 25k routes
Who: Any skiers capable of finishing a remote course. We do not recommend the longer routes to anyone under 14 years of age.

Morning shuttle available for racers.
Outhouses available at start and end of the route.
Refreshment stations will be approximately every 10k on the route.
Emails with more specific details will be sent to registrants before race day.
BE AWARE:
This remote course is very difficult & challenging and safety comes first. This includes looking out for others & stopping to help when someone is in need until a rescue sled arrives. Do not take chances - because a rescue will take a LONG time to find you and there is no cell service in some areas. Use caution on the steep drops- especially if you can't see the bottom!

*Registration for the 42k for ages under 18 is okay only with director's permission. It is not a separate event from the adult race.

Registration and bib pick-up is available to 10:00 am
Member discount:
Members receive a discount on registration fees. The discount is $10 for the adult races and $5 for the tour and youth 25k. In order to get this discount, you must be logged into your account. Login information was supplied when you initially registered for membership online or through an email message if your membership was processed through the mail.
Registering:
If you are logged in you may register yourself as well as any additional family members in your membership at the member discounted rate. You can also register additional non-members at the full non-member rate. If you are not logged in you can only register as a non-member. Select how you are registering and, for each registrant select the activity you want to register for and fill in the additional information.
